We love a challenge, and the potential of this dark, outdated space on the edge of Brisbane’s historic Post Office Square, was irresistible. Inspired by classic dining rooms, open sunrooms and lush greenhouses, we felt that Brisbane needed a dining and drinking venue that felt less like a pub and more of a welcoming, open space for everyone to feel at home in. The combination of old world with contemporary is a delicate balance, which we achieved with custom elements. The AZBcreative philosophy is to design our own elements or use small run producers. From the custom black and white glazed tiles in the garden bar through to the beautiful hand-blown lights above the curved raw bar; a beautiful island banquette in bean-green to the limited edition and original artwork…every element works in harmony to create a unique story and a magical atmosphere.
